Everyone who’s anyone knows that little kids love, love, love to play with everything they can get their grubby little fingers on.
Of course, they’re usually more tempted to play with what they’re not supposed to play with.
Here is an example of what I mean:
Yes, those are band-aids. Yes, that’s a lamp.
This happens to be the floor lamp in our bedroom.
The Kid got a hold of band-aids from the dresser and, unbeknownst to either of us, proceeded to “decorate” the lamp.
I’ll give The Kid brownie points for creativity – hey, she coulda stuck ’em all over herself! – and being sly.
But really??? I had to buy a whole new box of band-aids.
